Are you working in a management or leadership role in medicine? Do you need help in dealing with the complex changes happening within the NHS? Or would you simply like an opportunity to gain more knowledge to improve your medical management skills?

If so, BAMM membership can provide you with the support and knowledge that many medical managers require. Our aim is to help you become the best medical manager you can be by providing the latest thinking on clinical management through our quarterly journal and newsletter - all with the ultimate aim of improving patient care.                       

In addition, BAMM membership can provide you with a voice on the national stage by communicating your views directly to the top of both the clinical and political worlds.

BAMM MEMBERSHIP - INDIVIDUAL 

BAMM membership includes:

• Clinical Leader Voice - with relevant updates in NHS news, opinion, and policy analysis (quarterly).
• Clinical Leader - BAMM's twice yearly peer reviewed journal examines papers from original research, different ways of working and associated policy.
• BAMM training, events, and publications at preferential rates - (e.g. access to BAMM's members only Seminar Series plus discounts on both our Summer School/AGM and jointly run conferences with select external partners).
• Network Groups - members have the opportunity to be involved in our network of medical managers from across the UK, producing papers and documents, feeding back into national policy, and discussing key issues.

BAMM works in various sectors including the NHS, Independent, Military and the public sector.

• Full Membership

(Any clinician with a role or an interest in management)
This is £195 for the first year and £175 for every year after (The £20 difference being a one-time administration fee for new members).

• Associate Membership

(Non-medically qualified individuals)
This is £171.50 for the first year and £151.50 for every following year (The £20 difference being a one-time administration fee for new members).

• BAMMbino Membership

(Specialist Trainees & below)
This is £58.75 per year (We are currently waiving the £20 administration fee for BAMMbino Membership).

• Retired Membership

          This is £102.50 per year.

BAMM GROUP MEMBERSHIP 

 Today BAMM is proud to announce it's latest offering, the 'Leading Organisations' Network; a new way for organisations to work with BAMM, to help sustain the crive towards clinical leadership and demonstrate the ideals of clinicians and managers working as one. The 'Leading Organisations' Network provides a corporate membership of BAMM in a new and unique way and will bring together all healthcare organisations committed to clinical leadership in the UK.

What members of the 'Leading Organisations' Network get:

• 1, 3 or 5 years membership of BAMM for clinical leaders, managers of clinical services and executive team members (cost of package varies with size of organisation but give at minimum 25% discount on regular BAMM membership).
• 2 on-site events/ seminars designed to address the key issues for your organisation, to your specification, each year.
• Access for all to 1 to 1 management and leadership tutorin, coaching and mentoring with our specifically trained and highly experienced facult, at a significantly reduced rate.
• major discounts - minimum 10% - at all our national seminars and single day conferences.
• A special deal at our annual Summer School - frequently rated as 'the best national management conference there is all year...' - 20% discount per person on the indivual conference attendance rate.
  • Plus - for every 5 delegates, a FREE place a the conference for the CEO or another Executive Team member.
  • Plus - a FREE place for a junior doctor from the trust or PCT for every consultant or GP delegate attending the conference. The junior doctors will be warmly welcomed at the BAMMbino events at conference (BAMMbino is our rapidly growing group of junior doctors with aspirations and interest in management and leadership as a career). BAMM is deeply committed to improving the insight and understanding junior doctors have into leadership and management.
  • Plus - the opportunity to present a workshop at conferenc, demonstrating the new ideas or innovative approaches to tough problems developed within the trust or PCT.
  • Plus - the option of a session (facilitated by one of our faculty) specifically for your team, at conference. These have been extremely well-received over the last few years, as part of a team building exercise or as a way of crystallising what the messages from conference sessions will mean for the trust or PCT.
• Priorityand free places at BAMM's 'Night School' sessions for junior doctors and newly appointed GPs and consultants - late afternoon/ evening sessions held locally addressing key management issues in the context of robus, honest discussion.
• Discount of 10% for individuals enrolling on BAMM's national Fit to Lead programme. Fit to Lead is BAMM's unique leadership development programme, designed to identify the gaps in an individual's management and leadership skills, knowledge and behaviours set against and agreed, nationally and internationally benchmarked set of standards. The gaps are filled by an innovative, personalised mix of 1 to 1 tutoring, coaching and mentoring and specific taught elements in small groups over a 12 month period. Each delegate is then reassessed and awards are made, recognising thosewho have demostrated appropriate levels of management and leadership skill, knowledge, attitude and behaviours.
• Discount of 15% on any bespoke, in-house Fit to Lead leadership development/ organisational development programme, based on the same principles and standards as the national programmes.
• 'Leading Organisations' Network members will receive all BAMM publications - Clinical Leader (BAMM's peer reviewed journal or medical management and leadership), Clinical Leader Voice (BAMM's quarterly newsletter), the e-news bulletin and other one-off policy papers from BAMM and notes and papers from its major subgroups, including the Medical Leaders Professional Council (medical leaders of national bodies, Presidents of Royal Colleges, leaders at the BMA, GMC and DH in all 4 countries, locally-based medical leaders sitting on major national workstreams, SHA Medical Directors and National Clinical Directors) and BAMMbino (junior doctors interested in developing their leadership skills and those aspiring to careers in medical management from medical student through to consultant and GP appointment).
• An invitation to join us for 2 networking dinners each year, where we bring policy-makers and frontline clinical leaders togeher for informal discussion of key issues.
• The opportunity to shape the network so that the reationship with BAMM can give the greatest benefit possible to the member organisations.
