We run a regular series of events focusing on the current issues for medical managers in the UK.
- The BAMM Three Day Annual Conference
Our Annual Conference/AGM is the highlight of the medical managers calendar. Top speakers and a lively audience combine to make a stimulating and thought provoking event. This year’s conference takes place on 23rd - 25th June and is not to be missed.
We run a joint schedule of one-day conferences with Healthcare Events, which take place in Manchester and London alternatively. These conferences focus on a wide range of healthcare issues that would be of interest to an aspiring or practicing medical managers.
We run regular tightly focused one day specialist seminars on topics that require in depth closely focused workshops to properly explore. At the moment sessions on Finance in the NHS, Revalidation and Appraisal and Dealing with Difficult Colleagues are scheduled for 2009 with more to come shortly.
- BAMMbino/ The Night School
Our Junior Doctor group BAMMbino are prolific in the events they put on and their regularity. They have turned out crowds of 50+ on several occasions and have seen some fantastic speakers. If you know a junior doctor that might benefit from being part of this rapidly growing group, tell them to get in touch. We almost certainly have an event on in their area sometime soon.
The Skills Factory has long been regarded one of the highlights of BAMM's Events schedule and that hasn't dampened one bit coming into our 4th year. We have events scheduled through 2009 and if you haven't been yet, you really should come along.
