BAMM's Annual Conference 'Leading for Quality'

We’re back from another Annual Conference and rather than letting the dust settle, The BAMM Team is already up and planning next year.
Every year I’m given cause to complement our delegates and this year was no exception. I’ve often said that it’s the strength and commitment of the audience that makes a great conference and this year did little to dispel that notion. You turned out in numbers to help make every ounce of effort that goes into planning our annual events worthwhile.
However, I’d be utterly remiss if I failed to mention the speakers in what may have been our strongest content driven programme ever. The plenary sessions were often inspiring and always interesting and not a single speaker failed to achieve the potential we had noted when we put the programme together initially.
To say nothing of what was a great set of workshops over two days; Examples of innovation and good practise from within our own membership and from amongst your peers had the opportunity to shine and didn’t disappoint. They shared their successes and failures and the lessons that they had learnt and hopefully served to inspire those that attended to reply themselves to their own challenges with the vigour and determination that was on display.
Our theme was ‘Leading for Quality’ and the Quality agenda was forefront in the minds of so many of the presenters we saw over what was a packed two-day agenda (it’s testament to the quality that was on display that so few delegates commented on the busiest and most challenging programme we’ve ever held).
So much interesting work is already seeding out of the conference, we should be kept fairly busy until next year. Those of you that attended, thank you so much for your input into what we feel was a huge success, we hope we’ll see you again next year (and by all means in the meantime, we have SO MUCH going on).
Next years conference will be the 16th - 18th June 2010, so put it in your diaries now. We're still juggling venues, Manchester and Birmingham have bothe been mooted as well as a return to the Hilton, London Docklands, so well did they treat us this time around.
